Please be aware of a possible scam. A Tala resident received a text message 'please call me it is urgent'. The number was not recognised and no call back was made.

However, on further investigation the country dialling code of 0389 is Macedonia and the recipient does not know anyone in that country.

Please be vigilant if you receive text messages or calls from numbers you do not recognise - in this case it could have been that a number was misdialled, but it could also be a scam.
