Following on from the story regarding the mother and kitten needing a home, thanks to the efforts of Tala Monastery Cats [and a posting on their Facebook page], Rosie and Ollie will be jetting off to the UK in August to their new home.

The cats are currently with an agency who are arranging all their vaccinations and they will then be transported to the UK.

When the appeal went out for a home for the cats, the mother was about to be speyed. This operation in fact saved her life as it was found that she had a life-threatening infection of her uterus - had the operation not taken place she would probably have died within a few days.
